Description
A finger, amputated at the metacarpophalangeal joint; on the medial side of the proximal
interphalangeal joint there is an ulcerated tumour some 2 cm. in maximum diameter, with raised
white edges. At the lower margin there is a biopsy area. The biopsy of this lesion showed a
well-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma. Four other intra-epiderman carcinomas were excised
from this patient at the same time.
